Custom Packaging
Krayden offers a variety of custom packaging formats for sealants, adhesives, and specialty chemicals — engineered to match your application method, volume requirements, and production environment.
Standard bulk packaging from manufacturers is not always practical at the point of use. Krayden's custom packaging service converts materials into application-ready formats — eliminating waste, reducing mix errors, and improving consistency on the production floor. Our repackaging capabilities are specifically designed for materials used in aerospace, electronics, defense, and general industrial manufacturing.
Available Repackaging Formats
Krayden offers the following custom packaging formats for two-component and single-component materials:
- Metal and Plastic tube filling
- Barrier and Injection cartridges
- SemKit filling (50 ml to 1500 ml)
- Syringe filling for dispensing equipment
- Clip-Paks (1 gram to 4 pound barrier pouches)
The Packaging Systems
Each packaging system is designed to solve a specific set of application challenges — from controlled mix ratios to field-deployable single-use pouches.
The Injection System
The injection system consists of a plastic cartridge filled with a resin and a syringe-type rod containing the curing agent. The rod is pushed into the cartridge, compressing the resin and causing the rod to rupture — injecting the curing agent and mixing both components. The barrier variant keeps resin and accelerator separated by a physical barrier inside the cartridge until activation. Krayden provides both barrier and injection formats for a wide variety of two-component adhesives, epoxies, and sealants.
Semkit Packaging
Semkit packaging is a two-component, disposable plastic cartridge designed to mix and apply multi-component materials with precision. Using the barrier or injection system, Semkits are filled with adhesives, epoxies, greases, inks, lubricants, sealants, or silicone. The filling system accurately proportions the correct ratio of each component. The material can be mixed automatically or manually, and Semkits are available in sizes from 50 ml to 1500 ml — making them suitable for both low-volume precision work and high-throughput production.
Clip-Paks
Clip-Paks are barrier pouches available from 1 gram to 4 pounds, designed for two-component materials in field service, workstation, and remote site applications. A clip separates the two components inside the sealed pouch until the operator is ready to mix. Removing the clip allows the components to combine and mix within the enclosed pouch — no scales, no mix ratio calculations, no contamination risk. Ideal for urethanes, silicones, potting compounds, primers, and epoxies where small-batch, single-use convenience is critical.
Why Custom Packaging Improves Your Process
Bulk packaging from the manufacturer is designed for cost-efficient transport — not for use at the assembly bench. Repackaging into application-ready formats delivers measurable process improvements:
Controlled Mix Ratios
Two-component systems require precise ratio control to achieve specified mechanical, thermal, and chemical performance. Pre-filled cartridges and Semkits eliminate operator weighing errors and ensure every application uses the correct ratio — every time.
Reduced Waste & Contamination
Single-use formats like Clip-Paks and pre-filled syringes eliminate open containers on the production floor, reducing the risk of moisture ingress, contamination, and material degradation between uses.
Dispensing Equipment Compatibility
Syringes and cartridges are filled to match your dispensing equipment — whether manual, pneumatic, or robotic. Krayden works with your process engineers to specify the right fill volume, tip size, and cartridge format for your dispensing system.
Shelf Life & Traceability
All repackaged materials are labeled with lot number, manufacture date, expiration date, and storage requirements. Custom labeling with your part number and PO reference is available to support your receiving and inventory systems.
Field & Remote Applications
Clip-Paks and small-volume formats are ideal for field service, MRO operations, and remote sites where precise weighing equipment is unavailable and minimizing material footprint is a priority.
Industries & Applications
Aerospace & Defense
Controlled packaging for structural adhesives, sealants, and potting compounds used in airframe assembly, electronics encapsulation, and component bonding — with full lot traceability and certification documentation.
Electronics Manufacturing
Syringes and cartridges for underfill, conformal coating, die-attach adhesive, and encapsulant dispensing on PCB assembly lines. Format and fill volume matched to your specific dispensing platform.
Automotive
Semkit and barrier cartridge formats for two-component adhesives and sealants used in body-in-white, powertrain, and EV battery assembly — designed for high-volume, high-repeatability production environments.
MRO & Field Service
Clip-Paks and small-format tubes for maintenance, repair, and overhaul teams that need precise, single-use quantities of two-component materials without mixing equipment — in the hangar, at the depot, or on-site.
General Industrial
Custom-filled tubes and syringes for OEM manufacturers using structural adhesives, thread-locking compounds, gasketing materials, and specialty sealants in high-volume assembly operations.
Global Down-Packing
Through Material Tech in Singapore, Krayden offers repackaging and down-packing capabilities in Southeast Asia — reducing freight costs and customs complexity for customers manufacturing in the region.
How to Get Started
Krayden's custom packaging process is straightforward. Most repackaging programs are established within a few weeks of initial inquiry.
Requirements Review
Share the material, format, fill volume, quantity, and any dispensing or labeling requirements with your Krayden account manager.
Format Selection
Krayden recommends the appropriate packaging system — syringe, cartridge, Semkit, or Clip-Pak — based on your application method, volume, and material viscosity.
Sample & Approval
Sample units are produced for your evaluation and process validation before committing to full production quantities.
Production & Stocking
Full production runs with optional managed inventory stocking — ensuring your repackaged materials are always available when your production line needs them.
