ABchimie AVR80 BA GEL Removable Acrylic Coating
Harmonization Code : 3208.20.90 | Paints and varnishes that are dispersed or dissolved in a non aqueous medium

Main features
- Can be soldered through
- Wide temperature range -65°C to +150°C
- Excellent adhesion
Product Description
ABchimie AVR80 BA GEL is a non‑toxic, flexible, transparent acrylic gel coating developed to provide high‑performance protection for electronic circuitry. Engineered for applications requiring enhanced environmental resistance and thicker protective layers, the gel formulation allows for damming and the creation of high‑thickness deposits with excellent clarity and adhesion.
This coating is fully repairable and can be completely removed using ABchimie SND or DNS (both 100% ozone‑friendly), making it ideal for assemblies that may require rework while still maintaining top‑tier protective performance.

Instructions for Use
Workshop temperatures of less than 16°C or relative humidities in excess of 75% are unsuitable for the application of AVR80 BA GEL.
Before coating Pcbs must be clean, dry and without moisture. The CI being humidity sensor, it is important to remove it before coating. A passage in oven from 1 to 2 hours at 60°C is generally enough.
AVR80 BA GEL contains a UV trace which allows inspection of the PCB after coating to ensure complete and even coverage. The stonger the reflected light, the thicker the coating layer is.
