Product Description
LINQCELL GDP120 is a 120-µm thick graphitized carbon fiber paper made from high-quality polyacrylonitrile (PAN) fibers. The fibers undergo a wet-laying process to form a non-woven, fibrous, and porous structure, which is then carbonized and graphitized. This high-temperature graphitization (2000 °C) results in high electrical conductivity, high oxidation resistance, and excellent thermal stability, making LINQCELL GDP120 highly recommended as gas diffusion layers in fuel cells. It can also be used as gas diffusion substrates for carbon dioxide electrolyzers.
LINQCELL GDP120 has a microporous layer and PTFE coating, which provide hydrophobicity and increased surface area. The higher surface area maximizes catalyst utilization, which increases fuel cell efficiency. Meanwhile, the hydrophobic properties improve water removal and ensure stable operation by preventing flooding within the stack.

LINQCELL GDP120 performs best in fuel cell applications at temperatures between 60 and 80 °C with low (>20%) to medium (20–60%) relative humidity. For low temperature operations (≤50 °C), low relative humidity conditions (>20%) are recommended to optimize performance.
Recommended For Fuel Cells Operating at:
- Low (≥20%) to medium (20–60%) relative humidity at mid- to high temperatures (60–80 °C)
- Low relative humidity (>20%) at low temperatures ≤50 °C
LINQCELL GDP120 is available in sheet form only. LINQCELL Graphitized Carbon Fiber Papers with MPL and PTFE treatment are offered in a standard width of 40 cm. Contact us for custom sizes or other specific requirements.
